Glencore Agriculture joins WBCSD's Soft Commodities Forum

Glencore Agriculture is pleased to announce it has recently joined the Soft Commodities Forum (SCF), a global platform for leading soft commodities companies convened by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).

On 15 February, industry members of the SCF confirmed their participation in a new common framework for reporting and monitoring progress on transparent and traceable supply chains for soy in Brazil's Cerrado region. The initiative aims to turn the commitments made by its members in to accountable and measurable action.

Glencore Agriculture has welcomed the announcement, which sits in line with its policies of working to eliminate deforestation from the supply chain and to protect valuable land areas.
