Viterra’s shareholders are Glencore, CPP Investments and British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI).

Glencore
Glencore is one of the world’s largest global diversified natural resource companies and a major producer and marketer of more than 60 responsibly - sourced commodities that advance everyday life. Through a network of assets, customers and suppliers that spans the globe, they produce, process, recycle, source, market and distribute the commodities that enable decarbonisation while meeting the energy needs of today. With a strong footprint in over 35 countries in both established and emerging regions for natural resources, their marketing and industrial activities are supported by a global network of more than 40 offices.

CPP Investments
CPP Investments is a professional investment management organisation that invests the funds not needed by the Canada Pension Plan to pay current benefits in the best interests of 20 million contributors and beneficiaries. In order to build diversified portfolios of assets, investments in public equities, private equities, real estate, infrastructure and fixed income instruments are made by CPP Investments. Headquartered in Toronto, with offices in Hong Kong, London, Luxembourg, Mumbai, New York City, San Francisco, São Paulo and Sydney, CPP Investments is governed and managed independently of the Canada Pension Plan and at arm’s length from governments. At 31 December, 2022, the CPP Fund totalled C$536 billion.

British Columbia Investment Management Corporation
With C$211.1 billion of assets, British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) is one of Canada’s largest institutional investors within the global capital markets. Based in Victoria, British Columbia, BCI is a long-term institutional investor that invests in all major asset classes. Their clients include public sector pension plans, public trusts and insurance funds.
